Gulfport Music Festival is returning to Jones Park in Fall 2017 with a musical line-up festival goers will not want to miss.
Featuring Mississippi-based 3 Doors Down and Ludacris, the festival will kick off on October 6. Other acts include Shaggy, Quad City DJ’s, Bubba Sparxxx, Fuel, and Sister Hazel.
The two-day festival will be jam-packed with food, music, and entertainment.
“Being able to produce the Gulfport Musical Festival and bringing so many well-known artists to the Gulf Coast for two days of music and fun while keeping our ticket prices affordable was our main goal for 2017,” said Alpha Media Vice President Ricky Mitchell.
Music lovers will want to fly over to Ticketmaster to snag tickets. Weekend passes will cost $35 plus tax and fees. A VIP Weekend pass includes unlimited entry and re-entry to the festival, viewing area near the stage, free food, soft drinks, and domestic beer for $125. Children’s tickets will be available at the gate for $10 per day.
City leaders hope the event will bring big business to the downtown area.
“We are excited about the return of the Gulfport Music Fest to the City of Gulfport and Jones Park,” said Chris Vignes with the city of Gulfport. “We believe it is the perfect venue for events like this and its proximity to restaurants and nightlife gives fans easy access to both. This year’s lineup is sure to draw tens of thousands to our Mississippi Gulf Coast.”
