2019 Paddle Race Schedule

Whether you like to paddle in a canoe, a kayak, or using a stand-up-paddleboard, there are plenty of opportunities to hit the water in 2019. The following is a paddle race schedule that covers many upcoming events in Mississippi, Louisiana, and Alabama. (Special thanks to our friend Wayne Berry for the information!)

Coming up on March 30th is the annual “Battle on the Bayou” which is held on Old Fort Bayou in Ocean Springs, starting and finishing at Gulf Hills Hotel. More than 100 paddlers, many from out of state, typically participate making it the largest paddling race on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.

Organizers for all these events are hoping to increase participation in 2019. So if you’re thinking about taking part, mark your calendar and make plans to hit the water.
