The Fireworks Display for Independence Day will take place on Friday, July 3, 2020 at approximately 8:45 pm. Fireworks will be launched from a barge in the water near Fort Maurepas. Certain streets will be closed to thru traffic from 5:00pm on Friday, July 3, 2020 through 10:00 pm. Police are scheduled to lift barricades at 10:00 pm to allow vendors to exit the area. As always, it is at police discretion whether to add, remove, or relocate barricades. Vehicles parked within the footprint will be towed starting at 4:00 pm July 3, 2020. Parking on private property will not be allowed. “No Parking” violations will be strictly enforced.

Main Street Pascagoula will once again present an Independence Day fireworks show. This is a professional pyrotechnics display that will be shot from a barge offshore. The fireworks are set to begin at 8:45 p.m. on Saturday July 4th.
WGUD will be providing a live stream of the fireworks show to allow people to watch from the safety of their homes. The stream can be found on the City of Pascagoula’s YouTube channel and the WGUD Facebook page.
Fireworks will be visible anywhere along Beach Boulevard or from a boat offshore. There will be a 550’ safety zone around the barge for boaters. We are asking everyone who chooses to attend the fireworks show in person to practice social distancing.
Parking along Beach Boulevard will be permitted east of Beach Park only. Beach Boulevard between 11th Street and Westwood Street will close to traffic at 1 p.m. on Saturday July 4th.

Fireworks start at 8:45 p.m. Best viewing locations are Jones Park, Gulfport Municipal Marina and beach south of Hwy.90. Moses Jetty will close at 6 a.m. The firework free ‘buffer zone’ will be at Jones Park. For more detail call the Dept. of Leisure Services at 228-868-5881.

View the fireworks display in Gulfport or Biloxi while enjoying a 2-hour sunset cruise along the shoreline. Boarding begins at 7 p.m. Entertainment provided by TRI-STAR SOUND. Food, soft drinks, wine and beer available for purchase. Outside food and drinks prohibited. Gulfport boat departs from Jones Park inside the Yacht Harbor. General Admission is $27. The show is scheduled to run for approximately 18 minutes, will be fired from a barge near Deer Island. The show can been seen between the Biloxi Lighthouse eastward to the Biloxi Bay Bridge and the best listening is on FM 105.9.
A fireworks-free zone has been established for spectators between the Biloxi Small Carft Harbor and Oak Street.
