Beau Rivage celebrates 20 years on the Mississippi Gulf Coast

March will be filled with special events, entertainment, and promotions at Beau Rivage as the Biloxi resort celebrates its 20th anniversary. And there’s something for everyone on March 16 when the skies over the casino light up with a fireworks extravaganza.

March 16 Special Events and Activities

St. Patrick’s weekend is going to one to remember as Beau Rivage observes its 20th anniversary on Saturday, March 16 with a full slate of free activities planned for the entire family. Start the day with the City of Biloxi’s annual Grillin’ on the Green, enjoy the St. Patrick’s Day parade through downtown Biloxi, and end the day watching Beau Rivage’s spectacular fireworks display from MGM Park.

Starting at 5 p.m., families are invited to join the fun at MGM Park with bounce houses and other activities. At 6 p.m. one of the Gulf Coast’s favorite high-energy party bands Unfazed will take the stage.

Mississippi Governor Phil Bryant, Biloxi Mayor “Fo Fo” Gillich and other dignitaries are scheduled to welcome guests and commemorate Beau Rivage’s historic 20 years on the Gulf Coast before the celebration’s finale, an extravagant fireworks show by the world-renowned Grucci Brothers. The Guinness World Record-holding, sixth-generation family-owned company, known as “America’s First Family of Fireworks,” will transform the night sky at 7:30 p.m.

In addition to fireworks viewing and family activities at MGM Park, Beau Rivage invites guests to visit the resort on March 16 for complimentary live entertainment and cake in the hotel atrium from 4 p.m.-7 p.m.

20th Anniversary Cocktail

Commemorate Beau Rivage’s platinum anniversary throughout March by indulging in a 1920’s inspired Old Fashioned. The Beau’s ‘20s Old Fashioned can be found in EIGHT75, Jia, Stalla and BR Prime and features Glemorangie, a diamond ice ball and Averna soaked cherries.

Entertainment Lineup

Multi-platinum selling, multiple Grammy Award winner Mariah Carey will take the Beau Rivage stage on March 2 as part of her upcoming Caution World Tour. Beau Rivage’s show will be the third tour stop and Carey’s first visit to the Mississippi Gulf Coast.

Mariah Carey’s 18 No. 1 hits are second only to The Beatles.

Legendary R&B singer, producer and songwriter Keith Sweat known for producing songs for the likes of Men at Large, Dru Hill, Isley Brothers and The O’Jays will perform his own hits at Beau Rivage on March 8. Hit singles include “I Want Her,” “Make It Last Forever,” “Twisted” and “Nobody.” Sweat helped form his own R&B super group, LSG, with Gerald Levert and Johnny Gill which produced two albums and sold more than three million singles.

Social media phenomenon and comedian Jessica “Jess Hilarious” is sure to keep audiences laughing when she performs at Beau Rivage on March 15. She’s best known for her appearances on MTV’s “Wild n’ Out” and Russell Simmons’ “All Def Comedy.”

For nearly 30 years Maze featuring Frankie Beverly has created a unique and powerful sound, which will be on full display at Beau Rivage on March 22. Grandmasters of funk, R&B and soul, the group’s hits include “Happy Feelings,” “Lady of Magic,” “While I’m Alone,” “Can’t Get Over You, and “Silky Soul.”

Iconic rock group Steve Miller Band will entertain audiences on March 23 with its songbook that spans more than 50 years. Miller’s brand of rock has dominated radio waves from the ‘70s through today with recognizable hits like “The Joker,” “Take the Money and Run” and “Rock’n Me.”

Beau Rivage’s month-long birthday celebration ends with Montreal, Canada’s “Stand Up Comedian of the Year,” Sebastian Maniscalco. Dubbed “one of the hottest comics” by Newsday, Maniscalco will be taking the mic for two shows on March 30 for his “Stay Hungry” tour.
