Dating back to 1889, the Neshoba County Fair has grown from a two day meeting of local farmers and families to an eight day giant house party in more than 600 cabins and 200 RV campers.
The traditions continue beginning July 27 thru August 3 in Philadelphia, Miss. on the Neshoba County Fairgrounds. Sprinkled among several other musicians and bands, headliners include Sister Hazel on Tuesday, July 31 followed by Corey Smith on Wednesday night, Chris Lane on Thursday night and Granger Smith on Friday, August 3.
You can’t say Neshoba County Fair with saying horse racing. Races begin Sunday afternoon and wrap up with the big events the following Friday.
