TEXARKANA, Tex. (Ark-La-Tex Weekend) -
Angela Evans from Bougie Grubs shared with us this great recipe for a little something different for a sweet treat during the Mardi Gras season. Make up a batch of these to snack on while waiting for a Mardi Gras parade to start.
INGREDIENTS
1 pkg. of graham crackers
2 sticks of unsalted butter

1 cup brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 cup chopped pecans
1 1/2 cup melting white chocolate chips

yellow, green, and purple sugar glitter
DIRECTIONS
1. Preheat oven at 350º
2. Place graham crackers in a lined with parchment paper baking sheet.
3. Melt butter, brown sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon in a skillet on medium heat.
4. Once it reaches boiling, let boil with stirring for 2 minutes.
5. Add pecans and stir.
6. Spread mixture on top of crackers.
7. Place in oven for 12 minutes
8. Remove from oven and drizzle white chocolate on top.

9. Sprinkle sugar glitter
10. Let chill until chocolate hardens and then break into pieces
