Gulf Shores is launching a new parking fee structure at its public beaches and within the Beach Walking District. The flat rate is going away. Starting July 1, visitors will pay by the hour and the rate depends on where they park.
The annual celebration features a parade route through the French Quarter and a block party with live music.
The Downtowner officially opened its doors, welcoming its first guests and serving food from a kitchen in the old Triplett Day Pharmacy building, which operated in Gulfport for 65 years.
