JACKSON, Miss. (WLOX) - At the 2024 Mississippi Association of Broadcasters (MAB) awards Saturday night in Jackson, WLOX took home 24 Excellence in Broadcasting awards, 13 of those being first place.

The event is an important night every year for Mississippi journalists, as MAB announces the best-of-the-best across the state.

Categories ranged from those like on-air weather, breaking news and sports coverage to social media and multimedia projects.

Here’s what WLOX won in each category:
