GAUTIER, Miss. (WLOX) - On Friday at 5 p.m., the city of Gautier’s brand new The Sound Amphitheater will host its first concert headlined by KC and The Sunshine Band.
Whether it be during Friday’s concert or future concerts featuring Sam Hunt, Miranda Lambert or Lauren Daigle, here’s a few things guests should know before making their way to Dolphin Drive.

WHAT TO BRING, WHAT TO LEAVE
- The Sound Amphitheater allows plastic, vinyl or tote bags no bigger than 12″ x 6″x 12″ as well as small clutch bags (6″ x 6″ x 6″). Backpacks and large purses are not allowed.
- 32oz refillable water bottles are allowed. Single-use water bottles, other containers, bottles, cans and coolers are not.
- Lawn chairs are prohibited, but blankets are allowed.
- No pets, except service animals, are allowed.
- Outside food and drinks are not permitted. Local food trucks offering a variety of selections will be on-site.
- Firearms, weapons and fireworks are not allowed — venue or parking lot.
- iPads, tablets, selfie sticks, GoPro cameras and drones are prohibited.
- Strollers must be checked in at Guest Services. Umbrellas are not allowed — bring a rain poncho!
- Mace/pepper spray or any other aerosol spray (a.e. bug spray) are prohibited.
- Illegal substances of any kind are not allowed.
- Additional prohibited items include:
- horns, whistles, noisemakers, laser pointers or musical instruments
- stickers or decals
- objects that may obstruct another guest’s view
CASH OR CARD?
- All points of sale will only accept credit, debit or mobile pay.
- No ATMs are available on-site.
- Mastercard, Visa, American Express and Discover are all accepted.
PARKING
ADVERTISEMENT
- The Sound Amphitheater can be found behind the old Singing River Mall at 3855 Dolphin Drive, Gautier, MS, 39553. Parking is at the Town Center lot- the old Singing River Mall parking lot.
- Parking is $10 for general, $30 VIP parking
- No cash will be accepted- cashless payments only.
- Accessibility parking is located near the main entrance. Spaces are available on a first come, first serve basis for those with valid accessible tags.
- Event signage and staff will be available to offer parking guidance to guests.
TICKET, PLEASE!
- Tickets to most events will be available at The Sound’s box office on the day of events. They can also be found through the venue’s website at enjoythesound.com.
- To use tickets purchased online, follow these instructions:
- Open the Ticketmaster app
- Sign in
- Tap “My Events,” then “My Tickets”
- Present your tickets at entry.
- Children 2 and under do not require a ticket, but must sit in a guardian’s lap.
- Rain or shine, all events scheduled to go on. In case of emergencies, updates will be provided via The Sound’s social media channels, @thesoundamphitheater
- Re-entry is not permitted.
- No refunds, no exchanges. Purchasing tickets through third-party sellers is discouraged.
