GULFPORT, Miss. (WLOX) - After serving the Gulf Coast delicious popsicles and treats, Pop Brothers owners Shannon and Octavio Arzola plan on opening an authentic Salumerie in downtown Gulfport.
Tavi’s Salumerie, named after Octavio’s nickname, will feature cured meats from other countries and hearty, authentic Italian and Spanish sandwiches.
“We’re gonna make our own bread, and all the equipment is coming from Europe,” Shannon Arzola said. “Our target date is the end of July, beginning of August.”
The restaurant will feature sandwiches with homemade bread, meats and cheeses, imported sodas, and plenty of vegetarian options.
The new restaurant will be located at 1618 25th Avenue in downtown Gulfport.
