BILOXI, Miss. (WLOX) - Cities across the Coast are gearing up for 4th of July festivities, with events leading up to and on the holiday.
Here’s when and where to catch each Independence Day celebration and fireworks show:
Saturday, June 28
- Biloxi: Patriotic Mass and Concert, Nativity BVM Cathedral, 4 p.m.
- Long Beach: Long Beach 4th of July Jubilee, downtown Long Beach from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., events include a parade, block party, fireworks show
- Leaksville: Fireworks & Freedom, Greene County Rural Events Center at 2 p.m., events include a car show and fireworks show
Thursday, July 3
- Bay St. Louis: OLG Crab Fest, 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. at Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church
- Biloxi: Freedom Fest, Keesler Air Force Base, 5-9 p.m., event includes live music, games, competitions, and fireworks
- George County: Benndale Fireworks Show, Riverside Full Gospel, 7 to 9 p.m., event includes food, music, fireworks show
- Gulfport: 77th annual Mississippi Deep Sea Fishing Rodeo, Jones Park, 12 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., events include carnival rides, food and craft vendors, and live music
- Diamondhead: 4th of July Fireworks Celebration, South side of Diamondhead at Harbor Drive, 7 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
- Ocean Springs: Independence Day Celebration, Fort Maurepas Park from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
- Wiggins: Independence Day Celebration, Flint Creek Water Park, 9 p.m.
Friday, July 4
- Bay St. Louis: OLG Crab Fest, 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. at Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church
- Bay St. Louis: Lighting Up Da Bay, 8:30 p.m., viewing by boat on Jourdan River from Watts, Catfish Bayou to I-10 bridge
- Biloxi: Fireworks show, viewing on the beach across from Deer Island at 9 p.m.
- Biloxi: Independence Day Fireworks Extravaganza at Keesler Federal Park, fireworks following the 6:35 p.m. Shuckers game against the Pensacola Blue Wahoos
- Biloxi: Biloxi Schooner Sail for 4th of July, Ride aboard a Biloxi Schooner for the 4th of July fireworks, departs at 7 p.m.
- Gulfport: Fins, Fireworks & Frosty Beers, Mississippi Aquarium, 6 p.m., the after-hours event includes a pop-up beer garden, food trucks, and viewing of the City of Gulfport’s fireworks display
- Gulfport: City of Gulfport Fourth of July Fireworks Show, 8:45 p.m., can be viewed from the beach, Jones Park, and Gulfport Municipal Marina
- Gulfport: 77th annual Mississippi Deep Sea Fishing Rodeo, Jones Park, 12 p.m. - 10:30 p.m., events include a kids fishing rodeo, carnival rides, food and craft vendors
- Pascagoula: City of Pascagoula 4th of July Fireworks Show, 8:45 p.m., can be viewed from anywhere along Beach Boulevard
- Picayune: Independence Day Celebration, Friendship Park at 4 p.m., event includes a petting zoo, food trucks, a foam pit for the kids, and a fireworks show synchronized to music
- Perkinston: 4th of July celebration, Necaise Ball Field, 7:30 p.m., event includes concessions, prizes and fireworks
Saturday, July 5
- Bay St. Louis: OLG Crab Fest, 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. at Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church
