BAY ST. LOUIS, Miss. (WLOX) - Our Lady of the Gulf Crab Festival in Bay St. Louis is celebrating 41 years.

“I have been with it for 37 years and I enjoy it more than anyone could ever know, and I just keep coming back,” said event chairman Jimmy Osbourn.

While the festival has seen success over the years, new additions continue to be made to keep people coming back.

This year, the festival is serving fried soft-shell crab for the first time. A new seafood boil bucket, which contains six whole crabs and a pound of shrimp, was also introduced.

On top of the new additions, you can find all the staples like po’ boys, red beans and rice, and funnel cakes.

Entry is free, but it is a cash-only event.
