OCEAN SPRINGS, Miss. (WLOX) - The annual Peter Anderson Arts and Crafts Festival in downtown Ocean Springs is usually held on the first weekend in November.
This year, the festival will be held on the second full weekend, November 8 and 9.
The festival dates were moved because ‘Thunder Over the Sound: Keesler and Biloxi Air and Space Show’ is scheduled for the first weekend of November.
Peter Anderson Festival organizers say Keesler Air Force Base provides them with more than 50 volunteers, which is why they moved the festival to the second weekend this year.
More than 400 artists, crafters, and food vendors from across the U.S. will set up in downtown Ocean Springs for the fine arts festival, which typically draws around 150,000 attendees.

The two-day event, running from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on both days, also features live music and family-friendly activities.
The Peter Anderson Arts and Crafts Festival was created to honor potter Peter Anderson and to celebrate the arts community.
