BILOXI, Miss. (WLOX) - Three South Mississippi restaurants received recognition from Michelin, showcasing the Magnolia State’s rising culinary acclaim.
The Siren Social Club in Gulfport, White Pillars in Biloxi, and Vestige in Ocean Springs made the “Recommended” list of more than 100 dining spots.
This means Michelin’s anonymous inspectors have visited, evaluated, and given the restaurants their enthusiastic approval.
Siren Social Club

Michelin described the Siren Social Club as a spot where “seafood takes center stage” with “inventive, globally influenced dishes served in a lively, modern setting.”
The Siren Social Club also serves plates like beef Wellington and foie gras mousse.

Michelin said the eatery was “playful yet polished,” and that it “embodies the contemporary spirit of coastal Mississippi dining.”

White Pillars

Michelin described White Pillars as a place that “offers a dining experience that blends coastal sophistication with Southern heart.”
The restaurant is a restored 1905 mansion that sits along Highway 90.

Michelin said Austin Sumrall, the chef and owner of the popular dining spot, “crafts dishes that spotlight Gulf seafood, heritage grains, and foraged ingredients.”

Michelin said the chefs at Vestige “merge Southern tradition with Japanese precision to create one of the South’s most distinctive dining experiences.”
The chefs at Vestige are Alex Perry and Kumi Omori.

The menu at the restaurant is seasonally driven and includes locally sourced vegetables and Gulf fish.
