NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Emmy-winning actor Noah Wyle will reign as monarch for the Krewe of Orpheus parade on Feb. 16, the krewe announced Wednesday (Nov. 19).

Wyle, who first gained fame with 15 seasons on ‘ER,’ now stars, co-writes, directs and serves as executive producer of ‘The Pitt,’ an award-winning hospital drama currently producing its second season for HBO.

The krewe also announced that five previous Orpheus monarchs -- Joey Fatone, Will Forte, Jimmi Simpson, Jonathan Silverman and Jennifer Finnegan -- also will ride in the 2026 parade, joining krewe captain Sonny Borey on the Captain’s Galleon float.

The Orpheus parade of 35 floats and more than 1,500 members rolls on the Uptown route at 6 p.m. on Lundi Gras night. The 2026 parade theme is “All the World’s a Stage.”

The Krewe of Orpheus was founded in 1993 by New Orleans musician Harry Connick Jr. and Borey.
