BILOXI, Miss. (WLOX) - The 6th annual Hattula Family Light Show is now open in Biloxi, featuring 27-foot-tall light trees and two and a half miles of extension cords.
The display continues to grow each year and now includes 140,000 lights synced to music on the radio at 101.7FM.

“The kids, the joy, seeing them smile, seeing everything lit up, seeing the whole roof lit up, that’s what matters to me,” said John Hattula, creator of the light show.
“You know, there’s not a lot of true believers anymore, and as corny as that sounds, I believe in Santa Claus, and I believe in the Christmas spirit because this is what makes this season the best out of all.”
The Hattula family started setting up for this year’s display nearly a month ago.

The light show will also feature several visits from Santa Claus in the lead-up to Christmas.
The display is set up at 6917 Southwind Drive in Biloxi. More information is available on the Hattula Family Light Show Facebook page.
