GAUTIER, Miss. (WLOX) - Gautier’s ‘Taste of the Holidays’ celebration and ‘Lights and Lagniappe on the Bayou’ will take place Tuesday, December 9, after being postponed last week due to rain.
The combined event will run from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Town Commons property at 2800 Highway 90, which is near Belk.
The celebration will feature Santa and Mrs. Claus, face painting, and the annual lighting of the city’s Christmas tree. The Coca-Cola Polar Bear and Coca-Cola Christmas truck will also attend the festivities.
“It will just be a great day for fellowship in Gautier,” said Mayor Casey Vaughan. “If you got your tinsel in a tangle, you need to come and mingle and jingle with us on Tuesday.”
Food trucks will also be available during the evening event.
