GULFPORT, Miss. (WLOX) - The Gulfport Admirals are the 2025 7A State Champions after scoring a touchdown in the final two seconds of the game on Saturday. The Admirals toppled the Tupelo Golden Wave, 21-20, at Davis Wade Stadium in Starkville.

The city will honor the championship with a modified Sugar Plum Parade called ‘A Champion’s Christmas Parade.’

“We invite all community groups and local businesses to join us in cheering on our champions and celebrating the holiday season,” city leaders said in a statement.

The parade will roll at 4:30 p.m. on Monday, December 8.

The parade will follow the same route as the Sugar Plum Parade, beginning on 22nd Avenue and ending just past 25th Avenue and Highway 90.

People are encouraged to wear orange and blue to celebrate the Admirals’ victory.
