HATTIESBURG, Miss. (WDAM) - The 40th annual Southern Miss Coca-Cola Classic Rodeo will be hosted by the University of Southern Mississippi’s Campus Recreation Center.
The rodeo will be on Feb. 6-7.
The rodeo began in 1986 at the old Southern Miss Equestrian Center before relocating to The Center in Forrest County.
The Center at Forrest County also is known as the Forrest County Multipurpose Center.
The rodeo serves as a fundraiser for student scholarships and professional development.

“(It’s a) fundraiser for scholarships for students, student awards, and travel stipends, so students can go to educational opportunities that work with us here in campus recreation, and our students who volunteer for the event,” said Mark Crager, USM Campus Recreation Center director,
Tickets are on sale for $15 at Boot Country and Hub City West Farm and Garden.
Online tickets can be purchased through purplepass.com for $20. “Day-of” tickets will be on sale at The Center in Forrest County.
