NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Bruno Mars is back and New Orleans will be included in his return.

Bruno Mars announced The Romantic Tour on Thursday, marking his first full headline tour in nearly a decade following the 24K Magic World Tour, which launched in 2017.
The tour will span nearly 40 shows across North America, Europe and the UK.
Nine-time Grammy Award-winning artist Anderson .Paak will join Mars across all dates as DJ Pee .Wee.
On Sept. 16, the tour stops at the Caesars Superdome, and artist RAYE will also be on the bill as support.

The tour launches Friday, April 10, in Las Vegas at Allegiant Stadium. Mars will perform in major cities including Houston, Atlanta, Chicago, Toronto, Paris, Amsterdam, Milan, Denver and Miami.
Recent performances and achievements
The tour builds on Mars’ recent global performances, including his Las Vegas residency at Dolby Live at Park MGM and international touring throughout Australia, Asia, the Middle East and South America.
In early 2024, Mars became the first international artist of the 21st century to hold seven consecutive sold-out concerts at the Tokyo Dome. In fall 2024, he achieved the highest-grossing tour in Brazilian history, performing 14 sold-out stadium shows across five cities.
In August 2024, Mars opened Los Angeles’ Intuit Dome with two sold-out performances. One performance featured a surprise duet with Lady Gaga, where they debuted the first live performance of “Die with a Smile.”
New album announcement
The tour announcement follows news of Mars’ fourth solo album, The Romantic, arriving February 27, 2026, via Atlantic Records. The project’s first single will be released Friday, January 9.

Mars’ recent singles include the Grammy Award-winning “Die With A Smile” with Lady Gaga, which became the fastest song in Spotify history to reach 1 billion streams. The song topped the Billboard Global 200 Chart for 18 weeks.
“APT.” with ROSÉ was crowned the most globally streamed song of 2025 by Apple Music. The song scored 19 weeks at number one on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. Chart and 12 weeks at number one on the Billboard Global 200 Chart.
“APT.” won “Song of the Year” at the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards and earned three nominations at the 68th Annual Grammy Awards for “Song of the Year,” “Record of the Year” and “Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.”
