Graceland hosts proclamation ceremony on Elvis’ would-be 91st birthday

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - The King of Rock ‘n’ Roll would’ve turned 91 on Thursday.

Graceland is marking Elvis Presley’s birthday with a week of events.

Celebrations kicked off Thursday morning with the annual proclamation ceremony on the front lawn of Graceland.

There’s also two new exhibitions. The biggest one celebrates 1956, a breakthrough year in Elvis’ career.
