BILOXI, Miss. (WLOX) - The Maritime and Seafood Industry Museum in Biloxi held an opening reception Thursday night for a new artist’s exhibit.
The museum welcomed the handcrafted work of master craftsman Scott Bollich, a landscaper-turned-artist out of Baton Rouge.
An outdoorsman since childhood, Bollich’s copper artwork represents a lifetime spent with the fish and wildlife of the Gulf Coast.

“I love hunting and fishing, but there’s also that side that realizes that sometimes, the hunt has nothing to do with it,” Bollich said. “You go from hunting it to wanting to express it, or honor it, or pay homage to it, and that’s basically what I do.”
Bollich’s exhibit “Copper Meets Coast” will remain open to the public until March 31. The Maritime and Seafood Industry Museum is located at 115 1st Street in Biloxi.
