MIAMI, Fla. (WLOX) - On Monday, January 19, Mississippi native and 2025 American Idol winner Jamal Roberts will perform the National Anthem at the College Football Playoff (CFP) National Championship.

Roberts, a native to Meridian, Mississippi, stole the nation’s heart throughout the American Idol season and was crowned the winner in May.

Now, he gets to perform before one of the most-watched televised games there is.

You can tune in to the CFP National Championship on Monday, January 19, when the Miami Hurricanes will take on the Indiana Hoosiers in Miami. Kickoff is at 6:30 p.m., but you’ll want to tune in early to see Roberts sing.
