BILOXI, Miss. (WLOX) - Mississippi singer-songwriter Danica Hart announced that she is working on a new album, saying the project will be released this year.
Hart, who describes her music as “wrapped in Southern goodness and honesty,” said she is still working on the music and has not yet chosen a title for the album. Fans could hear some of the new material at her upcoming shows.
“Working on a new album to put out this year,” Hart said. “A lot of that music you’ll hear at our shows.”
Hart will perform at Ground Zero Blues Club in Biloxi on Friday, January 30, starting at 7 p.m. You can buy tickets online.
The independent artist said Mississippi audiences have embraced her solo career.

“It’s just me and the audience, and it’s original music, it’s some of your favorite covers, but it feels like a night of inspiration,” Hart said. “It’s like sitting with your best friend.”
