NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - French Quarter Festival is expanding this year with a new venue and additional programming.
The festival will expand to a new riverfront park at Governor Nicholls Wharf. Organizers say there will be more music than ever, with several stages adding Thursday performances.
For the first time, the festival will host a 5K run through the French Quarter on April 18.
The festival will take place from April 16 through 19.
