While January was a cold month for South Mississippi, attendees looked forward to warmer weather as they browsed boats and shopped among hundreds of vendors.

Biloxi Boat Show manager Melissa Miller said the event offers a wide variety of vessels and nautical goods.

“We have dealers here from Alabama, Florida, Louisiana, and of course Mississippi with all of the latest models. So there’s a boat for every size and every budget here,” Miller said. “Say you already have a boat but you need to upgrade your audio, or your dock needs fixing, or you need apparel for the summer, or safety equipment. Any kind of marine accessory, we’ve got it down here.”

Show attendees can also enter a boat giveaway. Coastal Conservation Association Executive Director Mickey Legasse said the show has held a boat giveaway for the past five years.

As of Friday, the show has sold close to half of its total tickets for the drawing.

“So this is a 2026 Tidewater Bayboat. Comes with a Yamaha 200 horsepower and a McClain trailer,” Legasse said. “We have close to 1,000 tickets. We only sell 2,000, trying to keep the odds great, but all the money raised stays in Mississippi. It works on our programs. We do our Kids Fishing 101, our Casting for Conservation. We do it to build offshore reefs that our people can reach to get to just help fortify the fishing industry and the seafood industry.”

The winner of the boat giveaway will be revealed Sunday.

The event also includes several seminars, including a children’s fishing 101 seminar. The Fetch-N-Fish dog show, an aquatic dog show, will perform three times Saturday and three on Sunday. A full schedule of seminars and Fetch-N-Fish performances can be found on the Biloxi Boat Show website.
