Saints QB Tyler Shough gets ready for first Mardi Gras

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - If you were near Saints quarterback Tyler Shough at Saturday’s Krewe of Pygmalion parade, you may be entitled to compensation.

Serving as grand marshal at the Krewe of Pygmalion parade, the first-time Carnival celebrity raised eyebrows -- and some defensive hands -- with the intensity of some of his throws of soft foam souvenir footballs into the adoring crowds.

Simply put, Shough showed laughably little chill during a widely shared portion of his first Mardi Gras ride.

The manner in which New Orleans’ QB1 was slingin’ it elicited dozens of amused responses on social media. A sampling:

At least Shough appeared to have gotten the hang of parade tossing at a different point in the route. With young players, it’s all about the development.
