BILOXI, Miss. (WLOX) — Paradegoers hit the streets of Biloxi Saturday night for the Krewe of Neptune Parade.
Close to 100 units wound their way through downtown Biloxi, delighting the crowds with dazzlingly lit floats and goodies.

Four marching groups and 20 bands from the Coast and across the state took part in the parade, setting the rhythm for the festivities.
Neptune named two grand marshals this year: award winning singer-songwriter Marti Dodson and retired police chief John Miller. Miller’s family joined him to ride the route.

Jerry Munro served as King Neptune, and Kelsey Descher was Queen Venus.

After a toast at city hall, the royal duo showered the crowds with beads and rode off to delight more along the route.
