Biloxi celebrates Fat Tuesday with 118th annual Gulf Coast Carnival Association parade (wlox)

BILOXI, Miss. (WLOX) - Fat Tuesday saw Mardi Gras 2026 come to a close, but the fun wasn’t over just yet as the Gulf Coast Carnival Association parade took to the streets of Biloxi.

This was the 118th annual parade held by the group. This year’s theme was pop art, an artistic style blurring the lines between pop culture and fine art.

Brian Walker Sanderson and Sophie Jay Schloegel were crowned this year’s King D’Iberville and Queen Ixolib.
