GULFPORT, Miss. (WLOX) - American Cruise Lines has docked its first ship at the Port of Gulfport.
The American Symphony arrived on Wednesday, bringing about 200 visitors to South Mississippi.

Officials at the Port of Gulfport said the cruise line will boost tourism and bring more money to the Gulf Coast.
The ship sails from New Orleans to Pensacola, with several stops in between, including Gulfport, Biloxi, and Ocean Springs.
At each stop, passengers can disembark and explore the city for about 12 hours.
