GULFPORT, Miss. (WLOX) — American Cruise Lines announced plans for future voyages on the Gulf Coast.
The American Symphony, which holds up to 180 guests, will embark on 17 cruises from November 2026 through early April 2027. American Cruise Lines has also scheduled 12 cruises for winter 2027-28.
The ship’s first Gulf Coast cruise sailed at the beginning of March.
The cruise traveled from New Orleans to Pensacola, making several stops along the way, including Gulfport and Biloxi.

On March 4, American Cruise Lines made its first-ever stop at the Port of Gulfport.

The cruise ship then sailed into Biloxi and docked at the Popp’s Ferry Causeway. Passengers took part in excursions that included time aboard the Biloxi Schooner and a visit to the Ohr-O’Keefe Museum of Art.
Coast leaders said the cruise line will boost tourism and bring more money to the Gulf Coast.

The American Symphony has five decks and was built in 2022.
It includes a four-story glass atrium, multiple lounges and dining venues, an outdoor walking track and a fitness center. The staterooms range from 250 to 650 square feet.
According to the American Cruise Lines website, prices for the eight-day cruise can be as high as $5,000.
