MOSS POINT, Miss. (WLOX) - Daniel Stallworth, a music teacher from Moss Point, has advanced to the Top 20 round of “American Idol” and is asking viewers to vote to keep him in the competition.
Stallworth said the experience has been positive as he moves further into the competition.
“It’s been wonderful. I can’t complain. It’s very joyful. I’m super excited for what’s to come,” Stallworth said.

Stallworth said his work teaching music has helped shape his approach to the competition.
“It feels wonderful to be able to teach the kids and to get them to understand that, hey, you can’t stop believing. You’ve got to keep pushing,” Stallworth said. “I always do well, as long as you keep believing in yourself.”
