PASS CHRISTIAN, Miss. (WLOX) — A Gulfport firefighter has opened his first retail location for Kajun Kick, a seasoning brand that has expanded to more than 1,500 stores.
Brandon Necaise launched Kajun Kick in 2023. The new storefront in Pass Christian, Kajun Kick Outdoor Store & More, gives customers a permanent location to purchase Kajun Kick products and other products.
“It’s small. It’s a small store. But we have so much packed into this small store that there’s not really much room to find an empty space,” Necaise said. “I believe this is gonna be a small step like Kajun Kick, and it’s gonna grow bigger.”
Necaise said he wants to build community around the brand.
“I want to bring so much love around one table, around that food that’s created by Kajun Kick,” he said.

Necaise said his approach to the business mirrors his work as a firefighter.
“If you build it from the heart, you’re gonna have that same mentality to drive like you do as in a house fire or when you got to save somebody,” he said. “You’re gonna give it your all at everything you do, and that’s exactly what we do here at Kajun Kick.”
The storefront is located at 9208 Cleo Smith Road in Pass Christian.
