BILOXI, Miss. (WLOX) — The 33rd Annual Crawfish Music Festival is in full swing this weekend at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum.

Day one of the festival brought out four bands — and, of course, plenty of crawfish provided by Quality Poultry and Seafood.
This year’s festival won’t include rides, but fan favorites remain, including the crawfish cook-off on Saturday.

The event draws hundreds of attendees each year for a weekend packed with food, music and family-friendly fun.
“I’m just really happy to be here for the live music; I’m a sucker for a good live show, and it’s really cool to see a bunch of like-minded people come together and celebrate the same thing,” Picayune resident Jade Howell said.

The festival continues on Saturday from 1 p.m. to 11 p.m.
