BILOXI — The Biloxi Seafood Festival is accepting submissions from local artists for its 45th annual festival poster and T-shirt design contest, celebrating Biloxi’s rich history and heritage in the seafood and maritime industry. 

The festival, organized by the Biloxi Chamber of Commerce and the city of Biloxi, will take place Sept. 12 at Biloxi Town Green. 

The celebration invites participants to submit their original artwork to the Mississippi Gulf Coast Chamber office or by email before 4 p.m. May 28. 

The contest is open to all skill levels, from professionals and amateurs to student artists, with no entry fee required. Each artist may submit one design in any medium, including graphic design. Artwork must be suitable for reproduction on posters and T-shirts. 

The winning artist will receive $500, five T-shirts and 10 posters. The design will be featured in festival promotions and unveiled July 14 at Hard Rock Casino.
