GULFPORT, Miss. (WLOX) — More than 30 restaurants, caterers, and food trucks will participate in the Gulfport Chamber of Commerce Taste Rattle and Roll event on Thursday, May 7.
The 13th annual event runs from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at Jones Park under the Barksdale Pavilion.
Laura Benoit with the Gulfport Chamber of Commerce said the tasting event will feature top local restaurants, food vendors, and beverage providers from across the Mississippi Gulf Coast, offering a variety of flavors while bringing the community together.
“It’s a great opportunity to get the true flavor of the Coast,” Benoit said. “We have a lot of really great restaurants and vendors that are here, all in one place.”

The event raises funds for the chamber’s small business grant program.
“Small businesses, they a lot of times run on a very tight budget, so any additional funds benefit them tremendously,” Benoit said.
You must be 21 or older to attend. Tickets are $45 per person through May 6, and $50 the day of the event.
