OCEAN SPRINGS, Miss. (WLOX) — The Taste of Ocean Springs Food and Wine Festival returns Thursday, turning the historic L&N Depot parking lot into a celebration of the city’s dining scene.
Approximately 24 restaurants will participate in the event, which runs from 6 to 8:30 p.m.
“This is a fun way to celebrate them,” said Cynthia Sutton, Ocean Springs Chamber president and CEO. “Give people the opportunity to taste what they could find as their next favorite meal or restaurant.”
The festival will feature food ranging from shrimp and grits to quesadillas. Fort Bayou Wine and Spirits and Mitchell Distributing are partnering to provide beverages.
The event will also feature live music, live painting by artists, and pottery.

“It’s a fun event. We’re going to throw a little bit of activity in there with your food,” said Sutton.
Tickets cost $50 and must be purchased in advance online. The festival has a capacity of about 500 people.
“My favorite part is just mingling with all the folks that are out there because you see so many people,” said Sutton.
