BILOXI, Miss. (WLOX) — Gem and mineral enthusiasts can browse a wide variety of items this weekend at the 46th annual Gem and Mineral Show in Biloxi.
Sue West with the Harrison County Gem and Mineral Society said the show features rocks, gems, beads, fossils, and minerals.
“It’s really a nice outing for the family,” West said.
The show features supplies for jewelry makers and offers chain maille demonstrations that showcase how rings are wound, cut, and crafted into necklaces, bracelets, and earrings.

A kids’ corner will also be set up where children can make gem trees.

“Kids love it,” West said. “And believe it or not, a lot of the adults enjoy doing that too.”
