OCEAN SPRINGS, Miss. (WLOX) — The Ocean Springs Chamber-Main Street Tourism Bureau is making sure your summer is well spent.
The chamber is bringing back its “99 Days of Summer” campaign.
The campaign features a guide with 99 different places to check out and events to attend. From shopping to beach days, outdoor activities to food, local music to galleries, the list has 99 days’ worth of featured adventures.
“We invite everyone to slow down, stay awhile, and enjoy everything Ocean Springs has to offer during the summer months,” said Cynthia Sutton, President and CEO of the Ocean Springs Chamber-Main Street-Tourism Bureau. “Whether you’re a longtime resident or visiting for the first time, the ’99 Days of Summer’ campaign is designed to encourage exploration, support local businesses, and celebrate the coastal lifestyle that makes our community so special.”
The chamber is also bringing back the Pelican Pound to help save on local shopping. Participants can purchase a Pelican Pound coin for $5 and redeem it at participating businesses while supplies last.

You can pick up your guide and get your Pelican Pound at the Ocean Springs Visitor Center (1000 Washington Ave.) until Labor Day, and follow along on social media throughout the summer for featured activities, local promotions, event highlights and inspiration for checking items off the list.
