“Ten years ago, we opened our doors with a vision of bringing a little bit of paradise to Biloxi, and ten years later, we’re thankful to be doing exactly that,” said Tessy Lambert, Lodging & Leisure Investments, LLC chief marketing officer.

What began as a bold vision inspired by the laid-back spirit of Jimmy Buffett has grown into one of Biloxi’s premier family destinations.

For Lambert, the biggest milestone isn’t a number; it’s the families who keep coming back.

“We’ve watched kids come here year after year and grow and continue to come back,” Lambert said. “When families start to make Margaritaville as part of their tradition, that means the world to us.”

The resort has helped anchor family entertainment along the Coast, adding a family-friendly environment away from the casinos.

“When they leave here, they talk about something that made their child laugh so hard they cried, or when the whole family just kind of clicked, and that’s what we’re in the business of,” Lambert said.

Buddy Lemann made the drive to Margaritaville Resort Biloxi from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, with his family; the resort is becoming a new favorite for the children.

“The kids are having a great time,” Lemann said. “They like the claw games a little bit more than I would like, but they’re playing a good bit of games, and they’re having fun at the pool and having a great time.”

For Lemann, it was the mix of kid-friendly fun and grown-up options that really stood out.

“There’s something for everybody here; obviously, you’re gonna bring the kids to the arcade, but there’s restaurants and bars here that are pretty good, too, and it’s just good for the whole family,” Lemann said.

As for the future, the resort isn’t looking for a permanent vacation from innovation anytime soon.

“We’ll keep evolving; we’re gonna keep adding, and we’re gonna keep making sure that when families are choosing a destination, Biloxi and Margaritaville are at the top of that list,” Lambert said.

The resort hosted live music and featured half-price games to celebrate the milestone.
