BILOXI, Miss. (WLOX) — On Saturday night, Make-A-Wish held its 22nd annual Martini Shakedown, a night for the community to celebrate the organization and reveal wishes.
It was the 42nd year for the Mississippi Make-A-Wish chapter, which operates with the goal of granting wishes to people younger than 18 at the time of referral who have a critical illness.
17-year-old Seth Roach and 18-year-old Jahniya Sparrow received four-wheelers they had wished for.
The keynote speaker for the night, Lexi Moore, a former wish recipient, said the event was reflective for her.
“It is truly such a full circle moment for me. So I love getting to see families just like mine experience the joy and laughter away from the hospital. It’s really such a surreal moment,” she said.

The Martini Shakedown event was held at the Beau Rivage Resort and Casino.
