BILOXI, Miss. (WLOX) — Several events are planned across the Coast to commemorate the 25th anniversary of 9/11.

Friday, September 11
- GULFPORT: Honoring Our Heroes, at St. Joseph Hospice (1210 Broad Ave.), blessing of the building at 5:30 p.m., speakers at 6 p.m., music at 7 p.m.
- GULFPORT: 9/11 Remembrance Stair Climb on the Seabee Base (only open to those on base), 7 a.m., Army Barracks parking lot (Facility 315)
- GULFPORT: 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony at installation training hall on the Seabee Base (only open to those on base)
Saturday, September 12
- BILOXI: Gravestone Cleaning Day, held by Biloxi National Cemetery and Carry the Load, 9 a.m.-12 p.m., volunteers needed— register HERE
- BILOXI: The Tunnel to Towers 5K Run, Walk and Climb, Margaritaville Family Resort, 3 - 9 p.m. — register HERE
