MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - This year’s MoonPie Over Mobile New Year’s Eve celebration in downtown Mobile will be headlined by five-time Grammy Award-winning artist CeeLo Green, it was announced Tuesday.
The city’s signature New Year’s Eve celebration will be back to feature live music, family-friendly festivities and the iconic giant MoonPie Drop at midnight.
From his beginnings with Southern hip-hop group Goodie Mob to his global success with Gnarls Barkley and as a solo artist, CeeLo Green is known for hits including “Crazy” and the multi-platinum “Forget You.” He is also well known as one of the original coaches on NBC’s “The Voice,” where he served for four seasons and returned in 2026 as a Mega Mentor.
