NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - LSU legend and NBA Hall of Famer Shaquille O’Neal will headline the halftime show as DJ Diesel for the Saints’ home opener Sunday (Sept. 27) against the Las Vegas Raiders, the team announced Tuesday.
The Saints announced the 3:25 p.m. game will feature enhanced entertainment, including a performance by New Orleans funk band Galactic at Champion Square before the game, a special 60th anniversary commemorative coin, the return of $6 Dome Foam and more fan-experience elements throughout the stadium.
“The home opener is always an important moment for our organization and our fans,” said Dennis Lauscha, President of the New Orleans Saints. “This year carries added significance as we recognize the 60th season of our team. We look forward to delivering a gameday experience that reflects the strength of our organization and the passion of our fan base.”
Food and beverage also will expand during the 2026 season, the Saints announced. There will be a $6 value menu available throughout the Superdome featuring nachos, hot dogs, pretzels, Dome Foam beer and other items.
Fans also will be able to participate in a Locker Wall photo opportunity, personalize trading cards and buy a limited-edition 60th season anniversary capsule in new fan experience offerings, the Saints said.
