OCEAN SPRINGS, Miss. (WLOX) — The 48th annual Peter Anderson Arts and Crafts Festival is less than a month away, and for downtown Ocean Springs, the countdown is on.
The Blue Moon Kickoff Party was Wednesday night at Crave Food Hall. The event celebrated the upcoming festival with a mixology competition.

Local restaurants put their creativity to the test, each with a uniquely crafted mixed drink.
Wednesday night, the winning artwork from the Blue Moon art contest, was displayed on signage, posters and cups. The piece is called “Once in a Blue Moon” by Ginger Woechan.
“People don’t get the festivals. That’s when you get out, that’s when you see people. It’s kind of like a reunion. They’re reuniting. Once in a Blue Moon,” Woechan said.
