OCEAN SPRINGS, Miss. (WLOX) — Amtrak will provide a temporary stop for the 48th annual Peter Anderson Arts & Crafts Festival, the Ocean Springs Chamber of Commerce-Main Street-Tourism Bureau announced Friday afternoon.

The stop will give visitors another way to travel to Ocean Springs and enjoy the beloved festival, scheduled for Nov. 7-8, 2026.

Drawing approximately 100,000 people to downtown Ocean Springs, the annual festival features more than 400 artists, crafters and food vendors, along with downtown shops and restaurants.

The chamber said making the temporary stop possible took diligent work with Amtrak representatives, the City of Ocean Springs, state and federal elected officials, and other partners.

“Thank you to Amtrak and everyone who worked together to make this temporary stop possible,” said Cynthia Sutton, CEO of the Ocean Springs Chamber of Commerce-Main Street-Tourism Bureau. “We’re excited to offer festivalgoers another convenient way to get to the Peter Anderson Festival this year. It’s a wonderful opportunity to help more visitors take part in the festival and enjoy all that Ocean Springs has to offer.”
