BAY ST. LOUIS, Miss. (WLOX) — Bay St Louis celebrated Halloween a little early as the seventh annual Boo in the Bay Parade made its way through Old Town Saturday.

Decorated golf carts, Jeeps and classic cars traveled from Bookter Street down to Beach Boulevard before ending up on Main Street.

Hundreds of families lined the road with bags and buckets as costumed paraders tossed candy and other throws at the early-bird trick-or-treaters.

Those in attendance say Boo in the Bay is the perfect combination of frights and fun.

“We love to watch the sun go down and go dark. It’s just the right amount of scary for the little ones but it’s also a lot of fun for the adults and all the costumes are great,” Alyssa Galeos, a parade attendee, said.
