BILOXI, Miss. (WLOX) — The Biloxi Farmers Market hosted a Halloween-themed market Thursday, with candy for children, costumes and food vendors.
Shoppers could also browse fresh produce, homemade jellies and jams, and Halloween decorations.

Market manager Bonny Pesch said the event highlights local vendors and the small businesses they work hard to maintain.
“All the vendors are local vendors, so they are all small business people who work very hard for their craft,” Pesch said. “We’ve got producer vendors, we have plant vendors, we have arts and crafts vendors. And every one of these people work really hard to keep their business going, so it is really important for us to be out here in the community and have the community come out and support us.”

The market is open every Tuesday and Thursday from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.
