Jamal rose to prominence as the winner of the 23rd season of American Idol, winning the show on May 18th, 2025 after receiving a record 26 million votes. The father of three girls and a former P.E. teacher at Crestwood Elementary says despite the national accolades, he’s still tried to remain humble and grounded.
“I just say staying connected to my routine and what I do normal. Being a dad, going fishing and playing basketball and doing all those things that I was doing before American Idol and before the fame. It keeps me grounded and humble. It makes me just be Jamal. This is who Jamal is.”
The album release celebration kicks off at 8:00 Friday night. General tickets are $50 and VIP admission is $100. Tickets are available online via event bright.
