Allison Childers was promoted to director of digital content in October 2023. She led the newsroom as WAFB's assistant news director from 2019 - 2023. Prior to that she served as the executive producer overseeing daily content in WAFB's evening broadcasts. From 2017-2018 Allison was a digital content producer, digital health reporter, and host of WAFB's weekly digital web series, Get Fit Red Stick.
